Clinical Science in Embryology
Master's Program
Embryologists play an important role in assisted reproductive technology (ART), managing oocytes and sperm and developing embryos in vitro. This master’s course is the first and only that allows both trainee and clinical embryologists to brush up on their knowledge and skills in ART. Not only IUHW faculty members but also leading professors in this field give lectures ranging from basic knowledge to the most recent topics in ART. Laboratory training is performed at Sanno Hospital, located in Minato Ward in the middle of Tokyo. You can choose one of the six IUHW campuses, and e-learning may be available soon as well. After graduation, you will be qualified to apply for embryologist certification by the Japan Society for Ova Research.
