Departments

Master’s programs cultivate outstanding health professionals with research-oriented minds, educators, and researchers who can provide evidence of clinical practice and create new methodologies in speech and language pathology and audiology. Our department encourages students to develop their scientific interests and heighten their research skills. It is preferred that individuals have clinical experience with speech, language, hearing, and/or swallowing disorders prior to enrollment.

Doctoral programs cultivate researchers, educators, and leaders of clinical practice who can conduct outstanding research in speech, language pathology and audiology, communication sciences, and related areas. Our department encourages students to conduct up-to-date research and to play an active role internationally. Our department comprises a language pathology course, a speech pathology and swallowing disorders course, and an audiology course. It is preferred that individuals have clinical experience in speech, language, hearing, and/or swallowing disorders prior to enrollment.
