Profile (Career Summary)

He received M.D. degree from Tsukuba Univesity and PhD degree from the Tokyo University.
He completed his residency at the Tokyo University hospital and appointed as assistant professor of Endocrinology and Nephrology Dept and lecturer of Clinical Laboratory medicine of the Tokyo University.
In 2017 he is appointed as the professor and chief of Clinical Laboratory medicine of IUHW and in 2018, professor of graduate school of IUHW. He is a board certificate by internal medicine, clinical laboratory, hypertension, endocrinology and gerontology.
His research interests are epigenetic control of blood pressure and its related organ damages. Also in clinical research he conducts several trials to find new biomarkers in non-communicable diseases.
Besides his professional work, he is the vice president of Japanese Clarinet Association.
He has been accepting PhD candidates from all over the world for more than a decade and his lab official language is English. He welcomes those who has the desire to explore unsolved question in medicine.
